How do you measure a hydraulic cylinder?

You also write down the cylinder's retracted and extended lengths. How are hydraulic cylinders prepared for use?
To ready a hydraulic cylinder, a person completes many precise steps - these steps help the cylinder work well and stay safe. A worker cleans the area where they work; they also get all the parts plus tools they need. These parts include the proper fittings, seals along with oils. Before installation, a person inspects the cylinder and all its parts. They check for the right size, type as well as shape, especially the seals also end stops. A worker puts a thin layer of oil on the piston rod and its bearings. This lessens rubbing and wear. The worker cleans the hydraulic pipes plus hoses to remove dirt.
