The Barwell Rubber Bale Cutter cuts large slabs or bales of rubber into smaller sections for ease of processing. The manageable cut sections are ideal to throw onto a mill or into a mixer. The normal use of a bale cutter is to cut the large slabs of raw material e.g. natural rubber and synthetic Rubber.The smallest balers produce a full-sized bale that is approximately 4 feet wide by 5 feet in diameter. The largest balers make bales that are 8 feet wide by 6 feet in diameter. Bale weights vary from 500 to 2,500 pounds in properly conditioned hay.The two standard bale sizes are 18" x 36" x 14" ("2-string") and 24" x 46-48" x 15-16" ("3-string"). The length of bales can be easily changed, but because of the shoot of the baler, the height and width are fixed.
