A conveyor consisting of one or more endless chains to which horizontal spaced slats are attached to form a moving support for the objects being conveyed.In conveyor. Slat conveyors consist of endless chains, driven by electric motors operating through reduction gears and sprockets, with attached spaced slats to carry objects that would damage a belt because of sharp edges or heavy weights.Slat top chains are made of special reinforced high-strength plastics or stainless steel. They consist of plastic or metal links or plates that are connected to each other by pins or drive locks. The plates can be also mounted on a classic roller chain.There are three series of chains (light, normal and high strength). The high strength chains (treated plates) are used for difficult applications (great forces, transporting abrasive products, etc.)
