Multi head Weighers, otherwise referred to as Combination Weighers, combine the content of a number of weigh buckets (or weigh heads) to generate precise measurements of products before feeding product into the packaging line.At a basic level, a multi-head weigher takes bulk product and weighs it into smaller increments according to the weights programmed into its software. That bulk product is fed into the scale through the in feed funnel at the top, generally via an incline conveyor or a bucket elevator.Multi head weighers are now the standard equipment for weighing and packing applications in varied industries. Especially if your business deals with fresh, food products, it is essential that the product is weighed efficiently while moving at great speed, and filled competently, without waste.The linear weighers are independent devices, which are normally mounted to the packaging machines and work together with them. The main function of the dosing device is the separating of the product into predefined doses, which are set by the machine operator. The ready doses are then fed to the packaging machines.Set up a bucket full to the brim with water,with the bucket standing in a collection bowl. Submerse your head neck deep into the bucket,then weigh the water that overflowed into the bowl. Add 10%, and the result will be a good approximation of your head weight.
