General Details
Description
Silent diesel generators use composite materials in a generator enclosure. Usually, these are layers of hard material which bounce the sound energy back into the enclosure. They also use soft, porous materials which absorb the sound energy, converting it into heat.You can calculate kVA into kW by multiplying with the power factor. The PF is usually 1 for single-phase generators, which means kVA is the same as kW. For three-phase generators, the PF is usually 0.8. That means a 20 kVA three-phase generator has a true power of 16 kW (20 x 0.8 = 16).The 20 kVA generator powers an air conditioner, fridge and server room as well as two remote control operator stations. The self bunded fuel tank is able to provide diesel to the generator while it's running.
