Product Details
Crimping involves using a powerful crimping machine to apply pressure in all directions to a hose coupling to create a tight seal. The pressure is applied evenly through a die that closes slowly, one time only.Hose crimpers work by exerting radial force onto the outside diameter of a hose with a fitting inserted. The crimping die presses onto the hose assembly through the use of hydraulic or pneumatic force.
