Key Features and Types: Construction:Hydramem 4040 membranes are typically spiral-wound elements, constructed from cross-linked fully aromatic polyamide composite. Applications:They are used in various applications, including brackish water and wastewater treatment, seawater desalination, and low-pressure water purification. Types: HM 4040 BWE: Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis element, designed for treating water with moderate salt concentrations. HM 4040 SWE: Sea Water Reverse Osmosis element, designed for treating high-salinity seawater. HM 4040 LPE: Low Pressure Reverse Osmosis element, designed for applications where lower operating pressures are required. Feed Spacer:A 34 mil (0.864 mm) feed spacer with modified geometry is commonly used.
