309 Stainless Steel Round Bar is a solid, cylindrical bar made from Grade 309 stainless steel, an austenitic chromium-nickel alloy designed for high-temperature and oxidation-resistant applications. With approximately 23% chromium and 13% nickel, this grade offers superior resistance to oxidation, scaling, and heat corrosion, even at temperatures up to 1100°C (2012°F). This round bar is widely used in industries such as heat treatment, furnace construction, power generation, and petrochemical processing, where components are exposed to extreme heat and thermal cycling. Common applications include boiler baffles, burner parts, furnace tubes, exhaust stacks, and heat exchangers. 309 Stainless Steel Round Bar also provides good strength, weldability, and resistance to sulfidation and other high-temperature environments, making it a reliable material for structural and mechanical use under thermal stress.
