321 Stainless Steel Flat Bar is a flat, rectangular bar made from Grade 321 stainless steel, an austenitic stainless steel stabilized with titanium. The addition of titanium prevents intergranular corrosion during welding by reducing carbide precipitation, making it highly suitable for high-temperature and welded applications. This flat bar is widely used in industries such as aerospace, chemical processing, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and thermal processing. It is especially valuable in applications involving continuous or repeated exposure to temperatures between 427°C and 816°C (800°F to 1500°F), such as exhaust systems, heat exchangers, boiler components, and expansion joints. 321 Stainless Steel Flat Bar offers excellent oxidation resistance, mechanical strength, and weldability, making it a reliable choice for structural and industrial components exposed to both heat and stress.
