Product Details
The 5 Ton Air Cooled Ice Block Plant serves commercial ice production. It produces five tons of block ice in each 24-hour cycle. The machine runs on 415 V three phase 50 Hz power for steady heavy duty service. A fully automatic control system handles the freezing cycle and harvest - staff need only switch the plant on plus monitor the indicator lights. Ambient air removes the heat - no cooling tower or water circuit is required. The condenser fans keep the refrigerant pressure low, which stabilizes performance and holds power demand down. Heavy gauge steel but also coated fins protect the frame, evaporator and coils from corrosion during long shifts. The plant fits ice factories, cold storage depots as well as ports that need blocks for fish, meat or concrete cooling. Large scale users receive an even output with filter checks and an occasional oil top up as the only routine tasks.
