It's a "cold cutting" process, meaning it does not generate heat, which is a major advantage over traditional cutting methods.Advantages The use of a water jet machine offers several significant advantages over other cutting technologies. No Heat-Affected Zone (HAZ): This is a primary advantage. Since the cutting process is "cold," it does not alter the material's properties or cause thermal distortion. This is crucial for cutting heat-sensitive materials and for applications where material integrity must be preserved. Exceptional Precision and Accuracy: Water jet machines are capable of very high precision, with tolerances as tight as ±0.005 inches.
