84347514 – ARM, WIPER – CASE CONSTRUCTION DESCRIPTION Part Name: Wiper Arm Function: The wiper arm is a mechanical support component that connects the wiper motor drive shaft to the wiper blade. It transfers the oscillating movement from the wiper motor mechanism to the blade while maintaining proper pressure and contact between the blade and windshield surface. Construction Description: The wiper arm is manufactured as a robust, lightweight structural component designed for use in construction and agricultural equipment windshield wiping systems. It consists of a formed metal arm body with a mounting head, pivot connection, and blade attachment end. The arm geometry is designed to provide correct blade positioning and uniform wiping coverage across the windshield. The mounting end incorporates a splined or keyed connection feature to securely attach to the wiper motor shaft, while the opposite end provides a coupling interface for installation of the wiper blade. A spring-loaded or flexible design may be incorporated to maintain consistent blade pressure against the windshield during operation.
