ACDB stands for Alternating Current Distribution Box. It is installed between the solar inverter and your home appliances. Among all the components of an ACDB box, two are the primary ones. AC Surge Protection Device (SPD) protects against power surges, by earthing the high voltage. ACDB mainly works on the principle of quick isolation of the faulty part of the system during unhealthy/abnormal circumstances. Main MCB performs two actions simultaneously. Firstly, it gives electrical connection between Inverter system & GRID supply system.
