Polycast-D is a versatile potting compound ideal for encapsulating power cable joints up to 11 kv and for potting capacitors, electronic flashers and other components. When cured with Hardener, it gives flexible castings. It offers the following advantages:- I. Low exotherm II. Negligible shrinkage III. Low water absorption IV. Excellent impact resistance V. Excellent resistance to heat shock VI. Resistance to transformer oil, dilute acids and alkalis VII. Good hydrolytic stability VIII.
