Aerosol valves are devices that release products in spray mode from containers under pressure. The most common applications are in the packaging of personal deodorants, hair sprays, insecticides, household and food products, decoration and technical products. Most of the aerosol valves are continuous spray mode.In addition, aerosols are used in healthcare as disinfectants, inhalers, anesthetic preparations, etc. Household preparations in aerosol cans include air fresheners, cleaning agents, car cosmetics, paints and varnishes, etc. Last but not least, certain foodstuffs, such as oil or whipped cream.Aerosol is defined as a suspension system of solid or liquid particles in a gas. An aerosol includes both the particles and the suspending gas, which is usually air. Meteorologists usually refer them as particle matter - PM2. 5 or PM10, depending on their size.
