Agitated Nutsche Filter Dryer is high-quality equipment designed for solid-liquid separation processes, by filtration under pressure and vacuum drying, for the pharmaceutical, chemical, fine chemical and food industries.Nutsche filtration is a batch filtration technique that uses vacuum and/or pressure in a closed vessel. The pressure/vacuum is used in combination with a filter plate fitted with the appropriate filter media to force liquid through the media, forming a solid bed often referred to as “cake”.Nutsche filter/dryers can effectively perform the separation of solid matter from a liquid under pressure or vacuum, in a closed system. The ability to isolate the product not only reduces product handling but also minimizes operator exposure and serves as environmental protection against solvent vaporization.
