The AL8NTIDG6 Ashok Leyland Diesel Generator supplies 200 kW of electricity. It holds a strong 6-cylinder inline engine, type AL8NTIDG6, with a bore of 112 mm and a stroke of 135 mm, built to last plus to burn fuel cleanly. The engine squeezes the fuel air mix at a ratio of 17.5 ± 0.5:1 - it uses less fuel and still delivers full power. A 105 amp hour battery starts the unit. From the bottom of its frame to the top of the canopy, the set measures 2020 mm - it fits on factory floors but also other heavy duty sites. The motor is rated at 223 kW, equal to 299 HP and runs without break. The layout allows long periods between services, parts are easy to reach as well as the exhaust meets current emission rules - the set suits tough jobs that need steady power.
