Product Details
The Allen‑Bradley PLC Power Supply 1746‑P7 is a rack-mounted DC power supply specifically engineered to provide regulated backplane power for SLC 500 PLC racks. Unlike a digital I/O module that directly handles discrete signals, this module's job is to deliver stable DC power to the PLC chassis and all installed I/O modules, including input cards, and output cards. It accepts a wide DC input range of approximately 10–30 V DC (nominal 12 V or 24 V), making it flexible for various industrial DC power systems and allowing it to power both the 5 V logic bus and the 24 V backplane supply used by many modules in the SLC 500 family.
