The APMT 1135 is a versatile, indexable carbide milling insert widely used for precision face milling, shoulder milling and light roughing in production and job-shop environments. With its square (80°) geometry and a small corner radius, APMT 1135 inserts provide excellent surface finish, stable cutting action and predictable wear characteristics. Manufactured from high-quality cemented carbide and finished with multi-layer PVD/CVD coatings, these inserts resist abrasive wear and thermal loading—extending tool life under continuous machining. APMT 1135 inserts are compatible with a broad range of carbide grades tailored for material groups: P (steels), K (cast iron), M (stainless), S (heat-resistant alloys) and N (non-ferrous). Their indexable four-corner design reduces tooling cost per part and simplifies changeover. Ideal for finishing passes and semi-finish operations on steel, alloy steel, stainless steel and cast iron, the APMT 1135 delivers consistent part quality, low vibration, and efficient chip control when paired with the right holder and cutting parameters.
