Aluminium railings are one of the most commonly used product for railing design. They are available in different grades of lightweight aluminium railings used for residential purpose and heavy weight used for industrial use.Standoff glass railing is a system where the glass panels are secured with standoffs (round stainless steel cylinders). The glass has holes pre-drilled, it is leveled in place, and the standoffs secure the panel to the vertical face of the stair and floor system.Tempered glass, or toughened as it is typically called, tends to be the most popular choices for balcony balustrades whether framed or frameless. Tempered glass and heat-strengthened glass are relatively similar in the way they are processed.Laminated glass is best prescribed if you prefer glass panels that are frameless. Generally, PVB is more suitable for the indoor glass stair railings because it has a chance of decaying quicker than EVA, which is more preferable for outdoor railings. Also, EVA gives a clearer lamination than PVB.
