Plasma cutting is a process in which electrically conductive materials are cut through by means of an accelerated jet of hot plasma. During the process, an electric arc is struck between an electrode (cathode) and the workpiece (anode).Nearly all plasma cutting systems fall under two categories: Conventional and Precision plasma systems.
