The asphalt plants or asphalt mixing plant is one plant that is used for mixing the dry warm aggregate, padding and Asphalt for homogeneous mixture at the required temperature. And it is widely used to the construction of highway, city road and parking lot. What are the components of a drum mix plant? Drum mix plants have components like cold feeder bins, weighing conveyor, drying and mixing drum with burner, bitumen tanks. They also feature filler hopper, wet dust scrubber, charging conveyor, control panel and optional silos for hot storage. Aggregates and bitumen are blended to produce the asphalt mix. This mix is then enhanced with additives and mineral fillers, after which it is applied for the construction of pavements of highways, parking lots, airport expressways, and road construction.
