Asphalt drum mix plant is also called “Hot mix plant”. The ultimate mixer of asphalt, concrete, fine aggregates, coarse aggregates & filler material together gives final result of drum mix plant output.Asphalt mix plants are used to create hot mix asphalt. It mixes aggregates and bitumen to create the hot mix paving material. The aggregates here can be a single-sized material or it can be a blend of various grades/sizes of materials.Hot-mix asphalt is made by heating aggregates to decrease the viscosity of the binding agents and make the whole more fluid, then drying it to remove any remaining moisture. It is mixed hot at 200-350 degrees Fahrenheit.
