Product Details
Integrating a screw conveyor with a ribbon blender forms a highly efficient industrial system designed for the uniform blending and dust-tight transfer of bulk solids, powders, and granules. This combined setup is widely utilized across the food, pharmaceutical, chemical, and agricultural sectors to automate material handling and eliminate manual intervention. System Configurations The role of the screw conveyor changes depending on its position relative to the ribbon blender: • Upstream (Feeding): The screw conveyor functions as an automated feeder. It extracts raw ingredients from a bag dump station, silo, or hopper and elevates them cleanly into the top entry port of the ribbon blender. • Downstream (Discharging): The conveyor is installed directly at the bottom discharge valve of the blender's U-shaped trough. Once a blending cycle finishes, the material gravity-feeds into the screw mechanism, which smoothly transports it to a packaging line, storage silo, or subsequent processing unit.
