Product Details
A pasta maker or pasta machine is a medium-sized kitchen tool designed to simplify the process of rolling and cutting egg noodles, or other kinds of dough to make fresh pasta such as ravioli, lasagne, fettuccine, and tagliatelle.They typically consist of two stainless-steel rollers with adjustable settings, which knead and stretch the pasta dough. Pasta machines are often sold with an additional removable cutter that creates pasta shapes such as spaghetti and linguini. Die extruders, which are available with many electric machines, as stand-mixer attachments, or in manual versions, let you also make round and tubular pasta, like spaghetti and rigatoni, as well as short, shaped pasta, like fusilli. Pasta machines work by flattening pasta dough in between two metal rollers. The distance between the two rollers can be adjusted, which helps to control the thickness of the pasta dough. The dough moves in between the rollers either manually with a crank or automatically.
