APPLICATIONSThe Gear oil EP 90 is primarily recommended for the lubrication of spur and helical gears, such as used in automotive manual gearboxes, where the manufacturer specifies the use of an EP oil. Leading British and International motor manufacturers approve the use of EP 90 for passenger cars and commercial vehicle gearboxes, steering boxes and idlers. EP 90 is suitable for service in a large number of gear applications where the average ambient temperature is between -15ºC & +30ºC FEATURES / BENEFITSEP 90 is a mineral based extreme pressure multi-purpose oil containing antioxidant, anti-corrosion and anti-foam additives to protect against problems due to oil oxidation, gear tooth corrosion and oil foam. It also contains a special extreme pressure additive to cope with the condition of high rubbing pressures experienced in hypoid units
