Product Details
A tapered roller bearing is a rolling element bearing that can support both radial and axial forces, and is designed to support the motion of a machine's moving parts. The bearing has tapered inner and outer ring raceways, and tapered rollers that run between them. The tapered surfaces of the raceways and the roller axes would all meet at a single point on the bearing's central axis if extended. This design is based on the observation that cones that meet at a point can roll over each other without slipping.
