Bamboo processing machines are usually built to perform a single task such as: Splitting - separating the material in the direction of the fibers at right angles to the surface (radially) Slicing - separating the material in the direction of the fibers parallel to the surface (tangentially).The slicer works based on a gravity-feed system where the weight of the loaves in the slicer puts pressure on the blades. The feed chute can hold between five and seven identical loaves. They hold the loaves in place to ensure that each one is cut cleanly and precisely.
