It is a glass-reinforced thermoset polyester sheet known for its arc resistance (≥180s) and high Comparative Tracking Index (CTI ≥600V), which prevents carbon paths from forming on the surface. Epoxy Glass Laminates (FR-4/G-10): Common in lower-voltage applications or where superior mechanical strength and moisture resistance are needed. Intumescent Composite Sheets: Specialized barriers (like those from 3M) that provide up to 4 hours of fire protection by expanding when exposed to heat, sealing penetrations against flames and toxic gase. Safety Features & Benefits Arc & Track Resistance: Prevents surface flashovers caused by contaminants, moisture, or animals in switchgear cabinets.
