Product Details
Batch Pasteurizer is a tank with peripheral heating, usually built for small dairies. The pasteurizer is heating batches of milk to a 65°, and hold it for 30 minutes, before cool it down to the desires temperatures. Higher pasteurization temperatures and longer holding time are available for different milk products.In the batch method, the milk is heated to 63°C in a tank or vat equipped with a hot water or steam jacket and agitators to keep the milk agitated; held for 30 minutes and then partly cooled in the batch pasteurizer. The further cooling is done by surface/plate cooler.
