Shearing Machines are multipurpose devices used in the cutting of alloys and other sheet metal. Shearing Machines use a straight shear action with the blade fixed at an angle as opposed to the angular movement.The machine used is called a squaring shear, power shear, or guillotine. The machine may be foot powered, less commonly hand powered, or mechanically or hydraulically powered. It works by first clamping the material with a ram.
