Ceramic yarn Continuous Filament Yarns are made from special glass yarns which con-tains a minimum of 94% silicon dioxide which ensures the yarns can withstandtemperatures of 1000°C.• Yarns made from Ceramic fabric have low thermal conductivity, high resistance tothermal shock, superb electric insulation characteristics at high temperatures,acid and alkali resistance (up to pH14) in comparison with fibres made of E Glassand Basalt.• They operate effectively under conditions of cyclical thermal loads.Applications• Used for braiding / weaving sleevings, tapes, cloth and other textiles for extremetemperature applications.High temperature ceramic yarn & high temperature yarns
