It also reduces dust during production and prevents the fertilizer from breaking down too quickly. Nutrient source: Bentonite is a natural source of minerals like calcium, magnesium, and potassium, which are essential for plant growth. Moisture retention: Bentonite's ability to absorb and hold water helps prevent water loss from the soil, which is especially important in dry regions. Inert carrier: Bentonite is used as an inert carrier for pesticides and fertilizers to ensure that the active agent is uniformly dispersed and that the fertilizers are retained on the plants.
