91 000 74051 A Swellable Water Bar is a flexible hydrophilic strip used for waterproofing construction joints and cold joints in concrete structures. When it comes into contact with water, it swells up to many times its original volume, blocking water passage and sealing the joint effectively.
It is an ideal alternative to conventional PVC water stops for difficult placements, vertical joints, and complex shapes.

Method of ApplicationSurface Preparation: Clean joint surface free of dust, oil, and laitance.Fixing: Place water bar in center of joint using nails, adhesive, or holder.Overlap: Ensure overlaps are minimum 50 mm, press firmly to avoid gaps.Concrete Placement: Pour concrete carefully without displacing the water bar.Curing: Allow concrete to set; upon water exposure, the strip swells to seal joints.
