The 8-17S 80A Smart Active Li-Ion/LiFePO4 100 Balance BMS (R24TK1A) is an advanced Battery Management System (BMS) designed for 8S to 17S lithium-ion or lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery packs. Capable of handling up to 80A continuous current, this BMS is ideal for applications such as electric vehicles (EVs), energy storage systems, e-bikes, and other portable power devices. A key feature of this BMS is its active balancing technology, which efficiently redistributes charge from higher-voltage cells to lower-voltage ones, ensuring that all cells remain at an optimal voltage level. This results in improved battery life, better efficiency, and enhanced overall system performance, as it prevents the battery from wasting energy as heat, a common issue with traditional passive balancing methods. The performance of single cell directly affects the charge and discharge characteristics of the whole battery and the deduction of battery capacity. BMS lack of balance function is only a data collector, which is hardly a management system. The active equalization function can realize the maximum continuous 1A equalization current. Transferthe high-energy single cell to the low-energy cell, or use the whole group of energy to supplement the lowest single cell. During the implementation process, the energy is redistributed through the energy storage link, so as to ensure the battery consistency to the greatest extent, improve the battery mileage and extend the battery life.
