The 8S 10A LFP BMS SAME PORT Hardware is a Battery Management System (BMS) designed for 8-series (8S) Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery packs. With a 10A continuous discharge current, this system is ideal for low-to-medium power applications, including electric bikes, solar power storage, small off-grid systems, and portable power packs. The key feature of this BMS is its same port connection, simplifying the wiring process by using a single port for both the battery management and balancing functions. This BMS includes active cell balancing, which ensures that each of the 8 cells within the pack are kept at an equal voltage level, preventing cell imbalance that can lead to reduced performance, shortened lifespan, and potential safety risks. By keeping the cells balanced, the BMS helps optimize the capacity and efficiency of the battery pack. Safety features are integral to the 8S 10A LFP BMS SAME PORT Hardware, providing overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent, short-circuit, and over-temperature protection. These safety mechanisms protect the battery and connected devices from potential damage due to electrical faults or extreme environmental conditions.
