Physical Dimensions The size can vary based on available space, but professional and commercial setups generally follow these standards: Standard Arena Size: 60–100 ft (Length) x 30–60 ft (Width). Professional/Tournament Size: 100 ft x 50 ft. Small/Recreational Size: 60 ft x 30 ft. Net Height: 20–25 ft. High ceilings are crucial to allow for lofted shots without the ball constantly hitting the top net. Pitch Length: 16–20 meters (approx. 52–65 ft). While a standard cricket pitch is 22 yards, box cricket pitches are often slightly shorter to fit the enclosure. 2. Infrastructure & Components A high-quality setup consists of four main pillars: A. Flooring (The Turf) The most critical part of the setup. Multi-Sport Turf (15mm–25mm): Usually a shorter, denser pile (like the 25mm variety) is used to ensure a consistent ball bounce and easy player movement.
