Conplast P211Water reducing concrete admixtureUses To improve the effectiveness of the water content of aconcrete mix Higher dosages provide effective means of reducingconcrete permeability and thereby reducing waterpenetration.Advantages Allows specifi ed strength grades to be met at reducedcement content or increased workability Water reduction signifi cantly improves compressivestrengths at all ages and enhances durability throughthe production of low permeability concrete Minimises the risk of segregation and bleeding and assistsin the production of a dense, close textured surface,improving durability Chloride free, safe for use in prestressed and reinforcedconcrete.Standards complianceConplast P211 conforms to IS:9103-1999. It also complies withIS : 2645 : 2003 as an integral waterproofi ng compound andASTM C494 Type A as a normal water reducing admixture.DescriptionConplast P211 is a chloride free water reducing admixturebased on selected sugar-reduced lignosulphonates. It issupplied as a brown solution which instantly disperses in waterConplast P211 disperses the fi ne particles in the concrete mix,enabling the water content of the concrete to perform moreeffectively and improving the consistency of the concrete.This produces higher levels of workability for the same watercontent, allowing benefi ts such as water reduction andincreased strengths to be taken.Technical supportFosroc provides a technical advisory service for on-siteassistance and advice on admixture selection, evaluation trialsand dispensing equipment.
