Description
Galvanized Iron Poles are widely used for street lighting purposes and incredibly suitable for car parking, railway yard, road junction, factory premises etc. GI lighting poles are manufactured using high-quality steel, by bending, forming, welding, galvanization and powder coating techniques.Galvanised Iron (GI) Pipes are manufactured using mild steel strips of Low Carbon Steel Coils. The strips are passed through a series of fin rolls to give them a circular shape. The slit ends of the strips are then welded together by continuously passing high frequency electric current across the edges.Formed from a single piece of carbon steel, the Straight Square Galvanized Poles support up to four light fixtures in all climates. These sturdy pole shafts endure wind and precipitation and come in a variety of colors.These pipes are widely used for conveying raw water & distribution of treated water in majority of rural water supply schemes, where the requirement of water is less. Mostly medium quality GI pipes are used. These pipes are cheap, light in weight and easy to handle & transport & easy to join.
