Pizon CCMT 09T308 MRT2 MR2500P is a high-performance carbide turning insert for precision finishing and medium turning on steels — offering excellent surface finish, reliable chip control and long tool life. Key Features ISO Geometry — CCMT (80° diamond): low cutting force, excellent finish. Insert Size — 09T308: 0.8 mm corner radius (R0.8) for stronger edge and improved tool life during medium cuts. Chip-Breaker — MRT2: optimized for reliable chip control and reduced built-up edge in finishing to medium operations. Carbide Grade — MR2500P: engineered for steels (P-group) with a balance of wear resistance and toughness — ideal for carbon steels, alloy steels and free-machining steels. Multi-layer PVD/CVD Coating: enhanced wear resistance, thermal stability and extended life under continuous machining. High Dimensional Accuracy: consistent offsets and reduced setup time for production runs. Applications: finishing, profiling, shoulder machining, and light-to-medium turning on CNC lathes and turning centers. Typical Cutting Parameters (Guideline) Cutting speed (Vc): 120–240 m/min (for steels) Feed (f): 0.08–0.25 mm/rev Depth of cut (ap): 0.2–2.0 mm Adjust values for machine rigidity, coolant and part material.
