FCSC 101 Continuous Sleeve Coupling Standard Types and Sizes Continuous sleeve coupling are stocked in an assortment of configurations which include C and F standard hubs and sleeves, Mill Motor hubs, Vertical style, Floating Shaft, and Spacer designs. Additional size ranges and designs to meet unusual application requirements can also be manufactured by Flexitech to meet market demands. Material can range from standard steel to alloy steel and even stainless steel. The exceptional simplicity of the Flexitech coupling designs make this all possible. Features 1. Simple and inexpensive all steel type of gear coupling constructed with a single sleeve and 2 hubs 2. Comparatively simple installation 3. Precision cut 20° pressure angle gear teeth with minimum backlash 4. Most standard configurations are available as stock items 5. Angular misalignment of 1/2° per gear mesh (flex-plane) 6. Interference fit (standard) and Clearance fit on bores are available 7. Designs for applications requiring horizontal and vertical orientation, full-flex, flex-rigid, mill-motor, disengagement, sliding hubs, Shear Pin, floating shaft, and spacers 8. Patented and tested seal design with reinforced washers bonded to the inside edges which positively retain lubricant and seal the interior from outside contaminants 9. Reinforced rubber seals with snap rings to hold in lubricant 10. Two snap rings made of hardened spring steel which securely hold the Coupling together, is easy to install or remove, yet withstand 100,000 Pounds of end thrust 11.
