They are mainly used for drying skin on the cashew kernel to reduce the moisture percentage to loosen the skin of the kernel before peeling.Spread the cashews on the mesh sheet that comes with the dehydrator. Keep them in a single layer and dry them at 115 degrees (F) until they are thoroughly dry and crisp.Generally the processing of raw cashew nuts into edible cashew kernel takes the following steps traditional method: roasting, shelling drying, peeling, grading, quality controls, fumigation and packaging. All these steps have to be conducted with care to obtain good quality and good grade kernels.
