A chainlink fence is a type of fence with a distinct diamond pattern usually made from a steel wire woven together in a zigzag line. The wires are laid horizontally and are bent in a way so that each corner of the zigzag intertwines to a corner of the wires immediately on either side.Chain Link Fabric (also commonly known as wire or mesh) is formed by weaving a series of spirals together to make a diamond pattern that is available is a variety of sizes and gauges. The most common is a 2″ Pattern (for pool fences a diamond size of less than 2″ is required) with #9 gauge wire.Welded wire mesh fence is a steel fence consisting of wire strands electrically welded together to form a high strength mesh. The fencing is available in two formats: rolled mesh and rigid mesh.
