The condenser of an oil chiller is based on an air-cooled or water-cooled type. An open type of oil chiller means that the evaporator is in an open form and placed inside the oil tank.An evaporator is placed between the expansion valve, and the condenser removes heat from any associated process into circulating refrigerant. This is then channeled to a cooling tower or air-cooled depending on the chiller configuration.
