A cleated belt conveyor is a conveyor that has a belt that contains carriers or cleats on its surface. The cleats allow products to be separated as they move up inclines and down declines. Cleated belts are used to help move items through inclines/declines as well as provide consistent spacing between products.There are two basic types of conveyors: powered and gravity.
