Freezing cold rooms or negative temperature cold rooms are used to keep frozen products between 0 and -28ºC.These are cold rooms with a temperature range between 0°C and 18°C and mostly used to preserve fruit and vegetables. They provide a suitable environment to store many 'fresh' foods, guaranteeing constant temperature and low humidity values through insulating casings with low thermal transmittance.
