Drycleaners use very large and technically advanced computer-controlled dry cleaning machines.Unlike traditional laundry, which uses water and detergent, dry cleaning is the process of cleaning clothing without the use of water. And as strange as that may sound, dry cleaning does actually clean your clothesDrycleaning uses solvents to remove soils and stains from fabrics. Among the advantages of drycleaning is its ability to dissolve grease and oils in a way that water cannot. Natural fibres such as wools and silks dryclean beautifully, but can shrink, distort, and lose colour when washed in water.There can be different types of dry cleaning according to the solvents used in the process. The most commonly used are flammable petroleum solvent called Perchloroethylene, and non flammable solvent called trichloroethylene.
