An Industrial RO (Reverse Osmosis) system is a manufacturing plant which purifies contaminated water through the process of reverse osmosis. The Industrial RO Water plant requires a variety of pre-treatment methods such as softening, dechlorination as well as antiscalant treatment.RO is used to purify water and concentrate and recover dissolved solids in the feedwater. The most common use of RO is to replace ion exchange and sodium softening to purify water for the boiler use in the industry. Water reclamation of municipal and industrial wastewaters.Reverse osmosis is one of the greenest solutions for industrial wastewater. Another environmental benefit of RO is the capture and correct disposal of impurities within the mains water feed. This is without the discharge of harmful chemically saturated water going to effluent or drain.RO membrane technique uses dynamic pressure to overcome the osmotic pressure of the salt solution, hence causing water-selective permeation from the saline side of a membrane to the freshwater side (Faller 1999). Salts are rejected from the membrane, and hence the separation is accomplished.
