Copper Bonded electrode is manufactured with the help of electrolytic cells through the process called electroplating. In this process, mild steel is coated with copper in an electrolytic cell. It helps in passing fault current in the ground.Copper-bonded ground rods have a high carbon steel core that is suitable for deep driving. A layer of nickel and then a coating of copper is electroplated on the steel core to provide corrosion protection This coating is not subject to the risk of bending or cracking.The Copper Electrodes can be used for voltaic cells, electrolysis experiments, fruit batteries, etc.
