Product Details
70/30 Copper Nickel Flanges are made up of a 70% copper and 30% nickel combination that has smaller amounts of manganese, lead, iron and zinc in the composition. There are Cu-Ni 70/30 Threaded Flanges, welded flanges, forged flanges and plate flanges. The material is strong, corrosion resistant and oxidation resistant. It is resistant to pitting and creep as well. The primary uses are in the marine and sea water applications but expand to other industrial applications as well. The Cupro Nickel 70/30 Slip On Flanges are used for precision location of the fittings with seamless pipes. There are other types such as the Cu-Ni 70/30 Blind Flanges which are used to close a pipe line.
